3 year olds

ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS:  Children three years of age by December 31, 2017, and “just about” toilet trained, are eligible for enrollment.

CURRICULUM:  The goal of our three-year-old program is to meet each child’s needs by offering experiences that will enhance their small and large motor skill development.  We challenge their imaginations through music, literature, art, and dramatic play.  Additionally, we will introduce them to the worlds of science, cooking, and cooperative play through child-initiated and teacher-directed activities.  The teachers are experienced in, and sensitive to, the nurturing and ability levels of young children.

MONDAY ENRICHMENT
Monday Enrichment is an active "child-centered" program.  We adapt our themes to the children's interests.  We welcome your children's ideas.  Children use their creativity to
expand art work and creative thinking.
LUNCH BUNCH
Lunch Bunch is a great opportunity to extend your child's day by an hour and to further develop social skills while eating lunch with friends and teachers.  Please send along a lunch and beverage for your child.  There will be no Lunch Bunch on Picture Day, field trip days, or staff meeting days.
STORYTIME
Please send along a lunch and beverage for your child.  Enjoy a story and activity in addition to our regular Lunch Bunch!
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math
STEM is a great opportunity to expand your child's skills through experiments and play.  Preschoolers spontaneously engage in STEM activities indoors and out on a regular basis.  With a little guidance from us, we can enhance children's opportunities to engage in STEM learning and develop critical thinking.
FAO (Friday Afternoon Out)
FAO is a fun nursery school experience available to all toilet-trained children ages 4-5 years old (entire school year) and 3-5 (beginning November 1) who are currently enrolled at Hope.  During this afternoon of enrichment, the children will enjoy crafts, games, singing, stories, and have the opportunity to eat lunch with teachers and friends.  Please send along a lunch and beverage for your child.

Camp Hope Program

After Hope's regular classes are over in May, additional sessions are scheduled for children wishing to attend "Camp Hope".   This is a very popular program and early registration is recommended.

Registration forms for this year will posted in the spring.

Please Note:  Camp Hope is limited to current Hope Church Nursery School students.
